This holiday season, ImagiCorps was honored to partner with the Microsoft Stores team and Morgan’s Wonderland — The World’s First Ultra-Accessible Theme Park. Morgan’s Wonderland features more than 25 attractions including rides, playgrounds, and an event center for people of all ages and capabilities.
We were asked to design, fabricate and install a long-term experience inside Morgan’s Sensory Village—an indoor make-believe community. All displays were designed and fabricated with ADA accessibility and inclusion top of mind. An interactive table anchors the space and customized digital content allows visitors to connect with their favorite park characters and attractions. Two gaming stations feature the Xbox Adaptive Controller enabling visitors with a broad range of challenges the opportunity to play their favorite titles on Xbox One X. In coordination with Microsoft’s Give Wonder campaign, we created a custom Wish Machine kiosk that provides everyone the chance to submit wishes that Microsoft will be granting throughout the holiday season. Custom graphic wall treatments and a lit logo sign complete the transformation of the space.
This project was a total team effort by the entire ImagiCorps organization. But, the real measure of success were the incredibly heartwarming reactions captured at last week’s official grand opening event.
